This course is designed for those that need to understand good housekeeping regulations and how to avoid slips trips and falls. Students will learn how to maintain surfaces; marking wet areas, covering and guarding floor holes and openings, cleaning immediately all spills, oil drips, etc., sweeping/picking up debris from floors, securing (tacking, taping, etc.) mats, rugs and carpets that do not lay flat, and securing/covering cables that cross walkways. In addition, will learn how to identify, abate and prevent elevated and same-level falls in the workplace. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included.
