This training course is designed to teach participants how to identify numerous types of fall protection components, understand corrective action for fall hazards, learn to perform a fall hazard analysis, and locate and apply proper OSHA standards to specific conditions. This course includes hands-on training of your specific type of fall protection equipment and is provided by the employer and must be inspected and accepted by the Instructor before actual training use. Students will be able to recognize fall hazards in the work areas and how to minimize these hazards; know procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting the fall protection to be used; use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems and other fall protection systems to be used; and the correct procedures for the use, handling, and storage of fall protection equipment. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 13
