This is a comprehensive review of the Confined Spaces in Construction standard. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to clearly identify, define, and explain hazards and acceptable corrective measures for Confined Spaces in Construction operations in accordance with 29 CFR 1926, Subpart AA. Course topics include recognition of confined space hazards, identification of permit and non-permit required confined spaces, use of instrumentation to evaluate atmospheric hazards, ventilation techniques, development and implementation of a confined space program, proper signage, and training requirements. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 6.5
