This course is designed for employers who are looking to have a competent person trainer deliver training that complies with training requirements established by OSHA standards in Subpart O, Section 1926.602 Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment, and Marine Operations. Using the ADDIE model, students will learn how to determine skid steer training needs, identify goals and objectives, develop learning activities and conduct a teachback and be evaluated on that presentation. Students will be able to deliver training to others that explain the safe operation of a skid steer loader, describe the correct performance of pre-use checks and field maintenance procedures, explain the applicable Health & Safety Regulations, recognize and avoid hazards associated with skid steer operation, Describe needed personal protection, how to operate and maneuver the skid steer safely. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 6
