GHS Hazard Communication course is a refresher training that helps you implement safety precautions to prevent and respond to chemical exposure. You will learn how to understand a Safety Data Sheet, read chemical labels and quickly identify other workplace hazards, as required by the GHS standards. This training includes specific safety measures that OSHA mandates every employer to understand, such as, proper waste cleanup and emergency procedures, how a hazard communication program reduces the risk of exposure to hazardous chemicals, what a Safety Data Sheet is and how to handle a spill or unwanted exposure to chemicals. Students will understannd OSHA regulations set forth in 29 CFR 1910.1200. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 2.5
