This one-day course is designed to meet the training requirements as specified in the 30 CFR Part 1-199. This training covers the requirements set forth by the 30 CFR for annual refresher training for surface mining. Students will review
Statutory Rights of Miners Rights, Duties and Responsibilities, Hazard Recognitions, Transportation & Communication, Mine maps and Emergency Escapeways, Barricading & Rock Dusting, Electrical Hazards, Explosives Handling, Accident Prevention, Chemical Hazards. Prerequisite for this course is the 3 day initial Mine Safety Training. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 8
