Alive at 25 is a highly interactive, law-enforcement instructed defensive driving course developed by the National Safety Council. The curriculum is 4-hours long and directed to refreshing defensive driving skills and addressing decision-making behind the wheel. The course is to be taken only by those that are under age 25.
This class is used in many states by schools for parking permits, insurance companies for driver discounts, courts for first infractions and employers to address their younger employees’ decisions and habits while operating company vehicles or driving during work hours.
Alive at 25 meets Maryland MVA requirements for those that are required to attend a Driver Improvement Course. It is approved for both virtual and in-person offerings. Attendees must be on time and provide a government-issued photo ID. Certificates will be mailed upon completion of the course.
