This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to apply the respiratory protection programs in compliance with OSHA standards. Through practical application of OSHA's respiratory protection program elements, participants will develop competency in recognizing various respiratory hazards across different workplace environments and implementing proper controls. The course covers the complete lifecycle of respiratory protection—from hazard assessment and respirator selection through medical evaluations, fit testing, proper use procedures, and ongoing maintenance requirements. Upon course completion, students will receive a certificate. All materials are included. Minimum student contact hours: 7.5
To register for an OSHA Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), you must provide at least one(1) address within the OSHA Philadelphia Region (formerly Region 3). The states are: Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. This applies to your Permanent Mailing Address, Material Shipping Address, Company Mailing Address, and/or Billing Address.
If you register for a VILT training and none of your provided addresses are within the OSHA Philadelphia Region, you will not be eligible for a full refund.
If you are unable to provide a residential or work address within the OSHA Philadelphia Region, you will need to register for a class at one of the Education Centers within your own region. If you need further assistance, please call our office at 800-875-4770 .
