National Safety Council’s First Aid Institute is an internationally recognized authority on first aid procedures and CPR & AED Instruction. Both programs are recognized by Federal OSHA and Maryland Occupational Safety & Health (MOSH). CPR programs comply with the latest guidelines as outlined by the American Heart Association.
First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill person until competent medical care, if needed, is obtained. This training also covers identifying signs of an opioid overdose and how to use naloxone to reverse it.
The ability to recognize a serious medical emergency and knowledge of how to get and give help may mean the difference between life and death.
