OSHA 10-Hour Electrical Transmission and Distribution (ET&D) Construction Course

OSHA 10 Electrical Transmission & Distribution Construction Outreach Training Course (ET&D 10-Hour) students will learn about the OSH Act, OSHA’s mission, and important regulations for electrical crews or anyone working around electric lines, above or below ground. Your authorized outreach trainer will emphasize the OSHA’s Focus Four hazards and train students on how to stay safe around electricity. Each successful participant will earn an OSHA ET&D 10-hour card.

Topics include but not limited to:

• Introduction to OSHA
• PPE
• Electrical Safety
• Grounding and Bonding
• Fall Protection
• Trenching & Excavation
• Job Briefings
• Lifting and Rigging
• Confined and Enclosed Spaces

Course Includes: Student materials, lunch and refreshments, OSHA 10 hour for Construction ET&D Card. Card issued for this course includes QR codes for quick verification on-site or elsewhere. Cards are mailed approximately 6 weeks after completion.
