National Safety Council’s First Aid Institute is an internationally recognized authority on first aid procedures and CPR & AED instruction. Both programs are recognized by Federal OSHA and Maryland Occupational Safety & Health (MOSH) and meet their requirements for training. CPR programs comply with the latest guidelines as outlined by the American Heart Association.
This training includes the Instructor Manual, Instructor Portal Access, Electronic Resources, and a Student Workbook. Instructors have access to nationally recognized completion cards, have minimal paperwork and administrative duties, receive discounted pricing on materials, and have access to the NSC instructor portal. Instructor candidates are certified in First Aid, CPR and AED as part of class training. Certification is valid for 2 years.
Requirements:
- Instructors are required to purchase a student workbook for each student they teach
- Instructor credentials must be renewed after the first year, and then every two years ongoing.
