This three-day (24-hour) course designed for individuals who respond to releases or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of the initial response to the site for the purpose of stopping the release. At this level, they can approach the point of release to plug, patch or otherwise stop the release of hazardous substance.
This program is also designed for workers who are on site with hazardous substances for a specific task, and who are unlikely to be exposed over the permissible exposure limits and do not require respirators.
These workers will also need one day of field experience from a supervisor, not offered through this course.
Prerequisite: None
Course Includes: Student Binder, Emergency Response Guidebook
We are not currently offering as a public course; however, private training is available. Contact Jessica.pastore@chesapeakesc.org for more information.
