This training program is intended to provide entry level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities and how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter.

Topics include but not limited to:

Introduction to OSHA

Walking and Working Surfaces

Fall Protection

Exit Routes and Emergency Action Plans

Electrical Safety

Personal Protective Equipment

Hazard Communication

Machine Guarding

Materials Handling and Storage

Course Includes: Student Materials, lunch and refreshments

Upon successful completion, students issued OSHA 10 Hour for General Industry card

Course Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
