Topics covered will include stress\, fatigue\, nutrition\, physical activity\, wellness\, substance misuse\, cold stress\, and heat illness with an overview of the Maryland Heat Stress Standard. \n \nDefining Elements: \n\nDemonstrate leadership commitment to worker safety and health at all levels of the organization.\nDesign work to eliminate or reduce safety and health hazards and promote worker well-being.\nPromote and support worker engagement throughout program design and implementation.\nEnsure confidentiality and privacy of workers.\nIntegrate relevant systems to advance worker well-being.\n\nPrerequisites:  None \nCourse Includes: Student materials\, lunch and refreshments \n \nThis is a required course toward earning the Whole Worker Health Certificate.
